Sliding or louvred roof: which to choose?
Both options let you control the sun and the rain. They differ in how they work and in how the terrace feels. Here is a comparison to make the choice easier.

A sliding roof runs on rails: you can open part of it or almost all of it. Closed, the cover is watertight: the terrace stays dry in the rain.
Aluminium louvres rotate on their axis: from full shade to almost open sky. Fully closed, the louvres keep the rain out and the water drains through integrated gutters.
A short rule of thumb: sliding, when a fully open terrace on a clear day matters most. Louvred, when the terrace faces south and the sun has to be managed all day. Prices depend on the size and the specification. We give the exact price after free measurements.
It is best to see both in person: we come out, show you examples and choose the option for your terrace together.
We will come, take measurements and send you a quote within 1 business day, free of charge.
